So After A Busy Weekend Of Racing For Memory Motorsport It Was Smiles All Round.

The FPRL GT Season Could Not Have Got Off To Better Start For The Midlands Based Team with Team Boss And Driver Tim Chetwynd Taking Pole Position From SCT Turb0mik3 By Just 0.000.020 of A second on The Final Lap. And Then Went on To Claim Victory in the 40 Lap Race By Leading From The Front And Never Looked Back Only Dropping Places At The Scheduled Pit Stop's. He Eventually Beat SCT Turb0mik3 by Around 15 Seconds. After The Race He Was Overjoyed At The result And Said " It wasn't As Easy Aa It Looked And Half Way Through The Race After The First Stop I Almost Lost It At The Hair-Pin When The Tyres Lit up On The Curb And Shot The Car Sideways Towords The Wall, But I Managed To Catch it And Carried On." He Also Said " We Are Not Taking This Win For Granted We Still Have A Lot Of Work To Do With The Car And Its A Long Season Of Racing Ahead Of Us."

The Team Also Entered The FPRL Prototype Series A New Venture By The Team And Finished 7th In That Race.

So With The Team Heading To Italy For Fridays Round 2 Race Of The GT Series Will It Be All Smiles Again. Only Time Will Tell But Team Memory Motorsport Will Be Hoping For More Of The Same.
